Ring Frenzy.

so i probably have a billion Macy's gift cards that have accumulated over the years. i absolutely despise gift cards; i find them extremely tedious because say you spend hours picking out the perfect item(s) to fit the specific amount on the card, then you got like, $1.80 left in it. now what? what you gonna buy at Macy's for 2 dollars. does Macy's even carry anything for $2? i don't think so. so now it's just 2 dollars wasted when i couldah bought somethin else with that..given it to a homeless person or somethin', idk!

so yesterday i brought all of my cards along and decided to just use 'em all up. i bought a bunch of things from the MAC counter, which was great, and this $30 ring. ridiculous right? i'd normally never spend that much amount on such a small item. i don't even want to spend $10 on a ring. but i already got everything i wanted from MAC, and jewelry was the only other things i cared to get without having to spend my own money so whatever. my mom, being the super saver she is gave me the most difficult time for buying such a pricey ring, she found a coupon somewhere so i had to return it, then re-buy it for only $20 this time. cool, i guess.

i don't think i hate gift cards anymore. they really came in handy when i know my cheap ass won't spend that much amount on those certain items...

my everyday wear $1 ring which i wear on my ring finger on my left hand. yes, i'm married to my money :)

people always have something to say when they see it. usually they make corny jokes like, are you gonna use that for the bus when you run outtah money?

i usually forget that it's a dollar bill, so sometimes i just forget to take it off while washing my hands. it's pretty worn in, but i love it.

 

so i tried to learn how to make one myself right..(because some man gave that to me a long time ago) and i pretty much figured it out. i realized that there's soo many different ways that you can fold the bill, in order to have specific things show up on the front. played around with it for a bit and came up with this:
